To set up or access a single line endpoint on a SLM-4 port:
1. Start the Inter-Tel 5000 Session Manager. The DB Studio window appears.
2. From the left pane of the DB Studio window, select System – Communication Server –
<bay n>: <Single Line Module - 4>.
3. Double-click the desired SLM-4 module.
4. Select the desired port.
5. Set up the port as a single line endpoint with associated circuit number or access the
desired port and circuit number. See Figure 6-22.

To program a single line endpoint:
1. Start the Inter-Tel 5000 Session Manager. The DB Studio window appears.
2. From the left pane of the DB Studio window, select System – Devices and Feature
Codes – Endpoints – <local extension number>.
3. Program the single line endpoint in accordance with user requirements. For content
guidance and data definition and control, refer to Inter-Tel CS-5200/5400/5600 Program
Planning Sheets (.DOC), part no. 835.2882. Single line endpoint programming options
appear under the Name column in Figure 6-23 ‘‘Single Line Endpoint Programming
Options’’ on page 6-145.
