SYSTEM DIRECTORY FOLDERS AND TASKS
This section provides information about the DB Programming functions located in the System
directory.

Introduction
After using Session Manager to start a Database (DB) Programming session, the DB Studio
window appears, consisting of two panes. In the narrow pane on the left, the system IP address
appears along with four top-level directories: Passwords, Software License, System, and Voice
Processor. The larger pane on the right shows also the four top-level directories as well as
settings for the following system-wide parameters: Date, Enable Daylight Saving Time, Enable
Network Time Protocol (NTP), Primary Language, Secondary Language, Time, and Time Zone.
For DB Programming purposes, the right pane is also used for displaying the contents of any
directory selected in the left pane.
For example, when you click the System folder located in the left pane, the following
programming areas display in the right pane. For the items below without links, refer to the Mitel
