Troubleshooting Tips
To program the Connection Wizard:
1. Troubleshooting Tip 1 of 8: Verify that the Base Server IP address in the BS/PS
Connection Address field is correct. Change the address as needed, and click Update
connection Status. If the status shows Disconnected, click Next to proceed.
At any time during the programming through this wizard, you may click Back to return to
the previous page or click Finish to exit the wizard.
2. Troubleshooting Tip 2 of 8: If you know how to perform an ICMP (Internet Control
Message Protocol) ping, do it now. If you do not know how to do it, check the LCD panel
of the Base Server and make sure the correct IP address is programmed.
For information about issuing an ICMP ping command, click Details. The following
dialog box appears. Click OK.
NOTE
It may take a few minutes to establish the connection. If you clicked the
Update Connection Status button and the status continues to show Discon-
nected, wait a minute or so and click again before proceeding to the next tip.
