To configure multiple, or batch, SLM-4 ports and circuits:
1. From the Single Line Module - 4: Circuit Configuration page, select the first port you
want to configure from the list appearing in the Single Line Module - 4 Circuits pane. The
port-number field changes color.
2. If the batch of ports you want to program appear in sequence, press Shift + the last port
you want in the batch. The selected port-number fields change color. If the ports you
want do not appear in sequence, hold down Ctrl while you select the desired port
numbers one at a time. The selected port-number fields change color.
3. Click Change. The Batch Change Type window appears, as shown in the preceding
procedure.
4. Select the Single Line option and click OK. The Create Single Line Extension window
appears, as shown in the preceding procedure.
5. Click the drop-down arrow, scroll to and select an available number from the list of
extension numbers appearing in the Starting Extension pane, and click OK. Available
sequential circuit numbers are assigned to the selected ports. They appear in the Circuit
1 column to the right of the SLM-4 ports in the Single Line Module - 4 Circuits pane, as
shown in the preceding procedure.
6. At any time going forward, you can program the endpoints in accordance with customer
requirements. For guidance, see page 6-144.
To remove a port and circuit:
1. From the Single Line Module - 4: Circuit Configuration page, as shown in the preceding
procedure, select the port–circuit combination you want to remove from the system.
2. Click Change. The Batch Change Type window appears, as shown in the preceding
procedure.
3. Select the None option and click OK. The circuit number disappears from the Circuit
1column in the Single Line Module - 4 Circuits pane.
To change a circuit/extension number associated with a port:
1. Perform the procedure titled “To remove a port and circuit:” above.
2. Perform the procedure titled “To configure a single SLM-4 port and circuit:” on page 6-
89.
