To add an MGCP gateway and endpoint:
1. From the Batch Change Type dialog box, select MGCP Gateway and Endpoint. The
following dialog box appears.
2. Use the default starting extension shown or select a different Starting Extension from
the drop-down list.
3. Enter the Number of Extensions using the stepper arrows or by selecting and entering
a value. Clicking the down stepper arrow removes extensions from the list. Clicking the
up stepper arrow adds extensions to the list.
4. Type an MGCP gateway name in the Gateway Name box.
5. Click any device with a red “X” and then type a name. Click OK.
6. Do one of the following:
• Add additional MGCP gateways and endpoints or other IP devices (see the
following section).
• Or, click OK.
7. When finished with setting up IP devices, click Next on the IP Device Setup page. The
Expansion Module Installation page appears. See “Programming Expansion Modules”
on page 6-80, or continue to the pages that follow to program other devices.
IMPORTANT
You must create an MGCP Gateway and Endpoint before adding an MGCP
endpoint. See page 6-76.
