Programming Date and Time Settings
To program the Date and Time Settings page:
1. Program the date, time, enable daylight savings time, and time zone for the system.
2. If necessary enable Network Time Protocol (NTP), and then program the NTP settings.
3. Click Next. The IP Settings page appears. Continue to “Programming IP Settings” next.
Programming IP Settings
To program the IP Settings page:
1. Select DHCP or Static IP Address assignment. A note appears indicating that Mitel
highly recommends using Static. There are five static IP Address fields on this page:
• Static Processor Module IP Address
• Static Expansion Card IP Address (unavailable if not a 5400 or 5600 system)
• Static Processing Server IP Address (unavailable if not a 5600 system)
• Static Subnet Mask
• Static Gateway
These fields are editable if you select the “Static” IP Address assignment button.
2. Configure the Hostnames for the Base and Processing Servers as well as DNS settings.
