Process Summary
Complete the following high-level steps to set up the system with the Configuration Wizard:
1. Open the Configuration Wizard.
2. Configure the system’s general IP settings and IP settings for the Mitel CS-5200/5400/
5600 Base Server, Processing Server (PEC-1), and Processor Expansion Card (PEC-1),
as applicable.
3. Set up or edit parameters for the following IP devices:
IP endpoints
IP Softphone
IP Single Line Adapter
MGCP gateway and endpoint
MGCP endpoint
SIP trunk
4. Set up and program the following modules, as applicable:
Base Server expansion modules
DEI expansion modules
Dual T1/E1/PRI modules
T1/E1/PRI modules
Loop Start modules
Single Line modules
Digital endpoint modules
5. Finish the Wizard configuration.
