Process Summary
Complete the following high-level steps to set up the system with the Configuration Wizard:
1. Open the Configuration Wizard.
2. Configure the system’s general IP settings and IP settings for the Mitel CS-5200/5400/
5600 Base Server, Processing Server (PEC-1), and Processor Expansion Card (PEC-1),
as applicable.
3. Set up or edit parameters for the following IP devices:
• IP endpoints
• IP Softphone
• IP Single Line Adapter
• MGCP gateway and endpoint
• MGCP endpoint
• SIP trunk
4. Set up and program the following modules, as applicable:
• Base Server expansion modules
• DEI expansion modules
• Dual T1/E1/PRI modules
• T1/E1/PRI modules
• Loop Start modules
• Single Line modules
• Digital endpoint modules
5. Finish the Wizard configuration.
