Database Conversion Log File
Page 6-44 Mitel
®
5000 Installation Manual – Issue 3.0, October 2008
The log file lists all cards and devices excluded from
the converted database. These include cards and
devices that:
Are not supported (in the Unsupported Cards/
Devices folder)
Were automatically excluded (e.g., IPRCs,
MDPMs)
Were intentionally deleted (via right-click menu
option)
Were not used (cards for which all devices
were placed on other modules, cards and
devices left in the Inter-Tel Axxess view)
The log file lists all cards and devices included in the
converted database with their new locations. For
each device, the original Inter-Tel Axxess location is
shown in parentheses after the new Mitel 5000
location.
Any additional changes required to convert the Inter-
Tel Axxess database to a Mitel 5000 database, are
listed. Warnings are included as needed.
At the end of the log file, there may be warnings
regarding the meta database limits. If any of the
default limits for the destination Mitel 5000 platform
are exceeded in the database, a warning is included
specifying the current and the default limits. You
need to consider whether to take action on the
warning(s). If any of these warnings are generated
during the conversion, at the end of the conversion,
before the Conversion Complete dialog is
presented, you are presented with a single message
alerting of the warnings and encouraging you to
carefully examine the log file.
If a fatal error occurred during the conversion, the
error message and corrective action will be included
as the last entry in the log file.
