1. The unsupported System Serial Port and B-Channel Station are automatically removed and stored in the Un-
supported Cards/Devices folder.
2. The total number of IP devices in the Mitel 5000 platform is limited to the following, depending on the system
type: CS-5200: 75, CS-5400: 175, CS-5600: 250
3. Any IP Endpoint, after it is stored under IP Devices in the Mitel 5000 platform, can be converted to an IP Soft-
phone and vice versa, using a right-click menu option.
4. When a Keyset/MDPM or Keyset/DPM is converted to an IP Endpoint, the MDPM or DPM is dropped. A mes-
sage appears and you can choose to not convert that device.
5. For each of these modules or ports, the devices occupy the circuits on the port. The number of circuits per port
is unchanged between the Inter-Tel Axxess and Mitel 5000 platforms.
