Refer to the Mitel NuPoint documentation for all hardware and software configuration
procedures not discussed here or in other release-related documentation.
Refer to the Mitel 5000 and NuPoint Messenger Integration Guide, part number 580.8008, for
information on setting up NuPoint Messenger as the voice mail system for the Mitel 5000. The
following Mitel 5000 voice mail applications and features are not supported in v3.0 with NuPoint
Messenger:
• Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). Refer to the Mitel Speech Auto Attendant (SAA)
product, provided with NuPoint Messenger for similar functionality.
• E-Mail Reader
• Record-A-Call (RAC)
• Soft menu buttons on the endpoints when making internal calls to voice mail
