13. Click Next to start
the installation, or
click Back to
navigate back
through the wizard
and make
changes.
14. The software
installation starts.
During the
installation, a
window displays
the percentage of
the files that have
been copied.
15. The last installation
window gives you
the opportunity to
view a “Read Me”
file that explains
the enhancements
that have been
made to the
System. If you
would like to view it
now, click Yes. If
not, click No (you
can still view it later
by selecting
Readme in the
programming
group).
16. Click Finish, then
click OK to restart
the computer and
complete the
installation. After the restart, the software is loaded and ready to use.
17. To begin programming, select Start – Programs – Inter-Tel 5000 DB Programming –
Session Manager (or double-click the Session Manager icon on your desktop). Start a
DB Programming session.
NOTICES
Upon DB Programming launch:
• Database: Restore the saved, converted and tested database.
• License: Upload the new license.
• Time Zone: Set the time zone for the location where this system is located.
• Trunk Gains: Database Programming will notify you, the first time you connect
after an upgrade, that the gains for all trunks have been defaulted. Because the
transmit and receive gains are Online Monitor-only (OLM) fields, this warning
only appears if the previous database version had any non-default gain values.
