Hardware Revision Identification
Check the following areas to identify endpoint hardware types:
Endpoint Web Interface: The hardware type is displayed in the Firmware Information
field under Status – Firmware – Hardware Type.
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display): The hardware type is displayed on the bottom line of the
LCD on startup.
Product ID and Revision: The part number and revision are displayed on the labels on
the bottom of the endpoint.
Message Lamp LED (Light-Emitting Diode) Pattern: The hardware type is identified by
the message lamp LEDs during startup. The user must reset the endpoint first.
Ethernet Ports: The number of Ethernet interfaces can be used to identify the hardware
type.
Table 5-14 on page 5-107 lists the hardware types and identification methods.
