Processor (x86)

This processor runs only call control and passes other real time
functions and E2T to the other processors. May be higher
speed on MiVoice Business for ISS, VMware Virtual Appliance,
and Multi-instance platforms, depending on server chosen.
RTC processor 533 MHz Runs Call Control on 3300 ICP appliances. This function is
performed by the x86 processor on MiVoice Business for ISS,
VMware Virtual Appliance, and Multi-instance platforms.
E2T processor 533 MHz This processor is used to increase E2T capacity, sharing the
load. This function is performed by the Media Server on
MiVoice Business for ISS, VMware Virtual Appliance, and
Multi-instance platforms.
Memory (RAM) 512 MB (MXe Server) For other platforms, see their respective Engineering
Guidelines.
IP Users (including
SIP users)
2500/5000 The lower number of devices can be supported with no
Engineering Rules. Going above this number will force tradeoffs
between set types, user quantity, and applications. Mitel
recommends using the System Engineering Tool.
Additional limits may apply with SIP-TLS. See “SIP Phones and
use of TLS (SIP-TLS)” on page 44.
TDM Devices 0 TDM devices are not supported on this controller.
Total Devices 3000/5000 The lower number is for display sets (e.g. 5330, 5340, 5360)
and the higher number is for standard sets, including generic
SIP sets.
