4. Ensure that the Connect Using field is set to the port
that you are going to use (COM1 or COM2) and then
click OK.
5. Set the port settings to
- Bits per second: 9600
- Data bits: 8
- Parity: None
- Stop bits: 1
- Flow Control: None.
6. Power down the 3100 ICP system.
7. Attach an anti-static strap.
8. Remove the top cover of the controller.
9. Locate dipswitch S1. It’s positioned next to the round
SysID module (see Figure 21 (page 185)).
