1. Connect a cable from the WAN port on the controller
to the port on the router or layer-2 switch of the cus-
tomer’s existing LAN.
2. Connect your laptop to a layer-2 switch port on the
controller.
3. Launch the system tool. See Launching the tools (p.
127).
4. Choose IP Networking from the Selection menu.
5. Click Router, click Network Interface, click WAN
Ethernet, and then click IP Configuration.
6. Click Change.
7. Choose Static from the IP Address Source menu.
8. Scroll down to the Static IP section.
