Program keys
With Program keys, you can perform tasks with your phone by pressing just one key.The Program
keys on your phone can be configured through the following methods:
• If your Mitel administrator has granted you the necessary permissions, you can configure
Program keys to dial an extension or external number with one touch.
• Your Mitel administrator can assign a variety of special functions such as call monitoring or silent
coach to your call appearance keys to provide a fast way to perform functions by pressing just

To program keys to dial a number:
1. Press .
2. Enter your voicemail password, and then press the Enter softkey.
The User Settings menu opens.
3. Navigate to Program Keys option using the navigation keys and then press the Select softkey.
4. With Left/ Right Softkeys selected, press the Select softkey.
5. Using up or down navigation keys, navigate to label field of the desired soft key.
6. Enter a label to be displayed next to the key for that number in the Label field.
7. Using down navigation key, navigate to Number field.
8. Enter the number that you want to program the key to dial.
9. Using the down navigation key, navigate to Call Appearance.
10. Use the left or right navigation key to select Dial Number/ Mobile Link.
11. Press the Save soft key.
12. Repeat steps 5-11 to program another key, or press the Exit soft key.
To de-program keys:
1. Press .
2. Enter your voicemail password, and then press the Enter softkey.
The User Settings menu opens.
3. Navigate to Program Keys option using the navigation keys and then press the Select softkey.
Note: Because the features that you can configure for Program keys are a subset of what the Mitel
administrator can configure, take caution in programming a key that your administrator has already
configured for a different function. If you want to return the key to the administrator’s configuration,
you will need the administrator’s assistance.
