4. Click Save.
5. Commit the database.
“Operation Successful” is displayed when the commit
database is complete.
6. Connect a crossover cable from a layer-2 switch port
on the controller to the existing LAN.
7. Launch a DOS command window and ensure that
you can ping computers that are located on the
existing LAN. Ping the DNS names of the computers.
You must set the PC to use the 3100 ICP system as
its DNS server.
8. Open a browser and ensure that you can surf to a site
on the Internet.
