Powering up the system
1. Connect the power cord to the rear panel of the con-
troller unit and plug the power cord into a power bar.
2. Connect the power bar to a power outlet.
3. Check the Power LED. During the power up
sequence the Power LED will display the following
states:
– initially flashes red
– flashes green/off while the system is
booting
– steady amber while running startup
diagnostics
– flashes amber while running bootrom
VxWorks
– steady green when bootup is complete.
Never disconnect the system power if the LED is
flashing red and amber.
