1. A duration of a simultaneous flag
should be sent out for 200 ms ~ 300
ms before the image data is
transmitted; however, it was only
carried out for less than 20 ms. As a
result, some other manufacturers
machines may fail to receive the
transmission correctly and a redial
operation may be repeated until a
communication error triggers on the
RC-1500df. The software has been
changed to correct this problem.

1. Measure to prevent the SPR signal
in TAD mode from being falsely
detected causing the machine to be
switched to Fax Mode. When
Maintenance Mode No. 705 (Short
Protocol Reception Setting) is set to
“2” OFF, the SPR signal will be
disregarded even if received.
2. The default setting of Maintenance
Mode No. 380 will be changed to
“2”: User Maintenance (“Replace
IU” message will be displayed when
IU replacement is necessary).

1. Some manufacturers machines may
not be capable of receiving the DIS
signal over 4 bytes in length. This
will trigger a communication error if
we send a 10 byte length DIS
signal. This has been corrected.

1. Measure to Prevent a Problem in
the Fax/Tel auto-switch mode.
Addition of Maintenance Mode No.
706 (Setting the number of CNG
Detection in Fax/Tel auto-select
Mode, “1” Once, “2” Twice, Default).
2. If more than a 6 byte length DIS
signal is received, a 10 byte length
DCS signal will be sent out during
the transmission operation due to
the software problem. The
receiving machine fails to recognize
the DCS signal, triggering a
communication error. This problem
has been corrected.
