Change to the Paper Feed Clutch
ver time, the Paper Feed Clutch may fail to function causing a PF/J-01 jam detection error. To prevent this
problem, the tension of the Spring that controls the Clutch Plate will be increased. A red marking placed on
the front side can identify the new Clutch as illustrated.

Software Program Change to Prevent EEP-ROM Damage
ertain machine functions can cause a communication conflict between the Main EP-ROM and the EEP-ROM
(P/N 33227030) on the Main PCB. The communication conflict can damage the EEP-ROM. To prevent this
problem, the Main IC ROM software has been updated. If the problem occurs, both the Main IC ROM and EEP-
ROM must be replaced at the same time.
