SET THIS LINE EVEN WITH EDGE OF DOOR
Dill 1-1/4" right hand door
hole for
Use punch to mark the 4 screw holes
and the cylinder hole.
Dill 1-1/4" left hand door
hole for
CAUTION
DO NOT UNSCREW SMALL RETAINING SCREWS AT REAR OF
CYLINDER. USE ONLY GRAPHITE FOR LUBRICATION. NEVER
OIL CYLINDER OR ALLOW FOREIGN SUBSTANCE TO ENTER
KEYWAY.
2. Insert cylinder and ring from the outside of door and place back-
plate on inside of door, connecting backplate with cylinder by
two connecting screws. Cut off screws to proper length relative
to the door thickness.
3. Cut off connecting bar so that it projects 5/8" beyond inside
of door.
4. Place lock on door so that connecting bar enters slot. Using
punched holes as guide, screw lock to door.
5. Apply strike to door jamb lower than the centerline of the lock
to allow for any sag in door.
6. Mortise long lip into door jamb and leave short lip on surface.

1. Apply proper template to inside of door and follow instructions
given on template.
