Bluetooth
This tool is equipped with Bluetooth® low energy technology and can be connected to an App from which additional
tool functionality can be accessed. For more information on the App functionality and if it is available in your country,
go to www.mirka.com.
Activate Bluetooth on your Mirka® LEROS as follows:
1. Connect the power cord to mains outlet.
2. Press and hold the rpm+ button while switching the tool on with the On/Off button.
3. The LED above the On/Off button lights up (blue), to indicate that Bluetooth is active.
4. Bluetooth is deactivated when the tool is disconnected from mains outlet.
NOTE! If the App is not installed or if it is not available in your country, Bluetooth shall not be activated.

Maintenance
Always disconnect the power before carrying out maintenance!
Only use original Mirka spare parts!
Replacing the backing pad
Tools required: Hex socket 19 mm and Torx T8 screwdriver.
1. Remove the cover cap. Untighten the screw to remove the backing pad.
2. Remove the screw.
3. Remove the old pad.
4. Attach the new backing pad to the spindle (aligned correctly) and tighten the pad screw with the hex socket.
5. Attach the cover cap.
Replacing the backing pad and interface
Tools required: Flat head screwdriver.
Pad with grip: Change as described in section replacing backing pad.
Plain pad with interface:
1. Remove hole screws (8 pcs).
2. Remove the interface.
3. Removing and attaching backing pad. See section above “Replacing the backing pad”.
4. Fit a new interface.
5. Refit hole screws (8 pcs).
Replacing the brake seal
1. Remove the backing pad as described above.
2. Pull the old brake seal out of its groove.
3. Insert the new brake seal in the groove.
4. Refit the backing pad as described above.
