Dosimetry Services offers ngertip dosimeters which are
perfect for those who handle radioisotopes or perform
interventional radiographic procedures and are concerned
with dose to the tip of the nger. By regularly reviewing
Dose Exposure Reports, you’ll be able to monitor radiation
levels and limit the amount of exposure to the tip of the
nger.
All ngertip dosimeters consist of one powdered Lithium-7
uoride element sealed in a plastic pouch and placed
in a nger cot that is placed directly over the nger.
When worn on the nger, the active Lithium-7 uoride
element should be placed on the ngertip to ensure
accurate measurements.
Each ngertip dosimeter is uniquely bar-coded and
labeled for ease of identication and chain of custody.
APPLICATIONS
• Ideal for individuals who have higher risk of exposure
to the tip of the nger.
