for Radiation Monitoring
Detectors for nuclear measurement have to transform
the physical quantity “nuclear radiation” (e.g. particle
ux or energy) into an electrical signal. Especially,
charged particles generated by the interaction of
radiation with matter are used for that purpose.
The detector program of Mirion Technologies (MGPI
H&B) GmbH offers ionization chambers, scintillation
counters, silicon detectors and GM-counters, the
majority of them are type tested.
