10. If you are using one or more EdgeVision devices in your setup, in the EDGEVISION INPUT
(IR CONTROLLER / PHYSICAL PROBE / STREAMER) area, perform the following sub-steps for
each input port of each EdgeVision device:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify an ID string for the input port.
b) In the ENABLE column, in the same row, type
YES.
c) In the EDGEVISION ID column, in the same row, specify the ID of the EdgeVision device
this port belongs to.
d) In the INPUT column, in the same row, specify the port number of this input port.
11. In the STBTUNER (IR CONTROLLER) area, perform the following sub-steps for each STB:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify an ID string for the STB tuner.
b) In the IR CONTROLLER PORT column, in the same row, specify the IR controller input port
associated with this STB tuner.
c) In the PDU ID column, in the same row, specify the ID of the power distribution unit
(PDU) serving this tuner.
d) In the PDU OUTLET column, in the same row, specify the PDU outlet number serving this
tuner.
12. In the DVRTUNER (IR CONTROLLER) area, perform the following sub-steps for each DVR:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify an ID string for the DVR.
Note: The unit name is retrievable from the EdgeVision Admin page.
IMPORTANT: Do not deviate from the default value for TYPE (EDGEVISION_INPUT).
Note: For the EDGEVISION INPUT area, the remote control device information for
your STB is retrieved from the EdgeVision device.
IMPORTANT: Do not deviate from the default values for TYPE (STBTUNER) or ENABLE (YES).
Note: iControl Edge continues to support the
STB type (along with the new
STBTUNER type). The difference is that STBTUNER supports PDU power cycling and STB
does not.
Note: The ID for each tuner across the entire iControl Edge configuration should be
unique (e.g.
EV_TUNER1, STBTUNER2, etc.).
IMPORTANT: Do not deviate from the default value for TYPE (DVR) or ENABLE (YES).
Note: iControl Edge continues to support the
DVR type (along with the new
DVRTUNER type). The difference is that DVRTUNER supports PDU power cycling and DVR
does not.
