b) In the NAME column, in the same row, specify this Densité frame’s host name
(see "Configuring Densité Services", on page 55).
c) In the APP SERVER ID column, in the same row, specify the ID of the associated
Application Server for this Densité frame.
4. In the ALLEGRO (STREAMER) area, perform the following sub-steps for each Allégro device:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify the ID string for the Allégro-1 device.
b) In the IP column, in the same row, specify this Allégro’s IP address.
5. In the PDU area, perform the following sub-steps for each APC7900 PDU:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify an ID string for the APC7900.
b) In the IP column, in the same row, specify the IP address of the APC7900.
c) In the APP SERVER ID column, in the same row, specify the ID of the Application Server
(entered in step 2).
6. In the CARD (PHYSICAL PROBE) area, perform the following sub-steps for each Densité card:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify an ID string for this Densité card.
b) In the TYPE column, in the same row, specify this card’s type.
c) In the DENSITE ID column, in the same row, specify the ID for the associated Densité
frame (see "Configuring Densité Services", on page 55).
d) In the SLOT column, in the same row, specify the Densité frame slot number in which this
card is seated.
7. In the GC100 area, perform the following sub-steps for each GC-100 at this location:
IMPORTANT: Do not deviate from the default values for TYPE (ALLEGRO), or ENABLE (YES).
Note: The ID for each Allégro across the entire iControl Edge configuration should be
unique (e.g.
Allegro1, Allegro2, etc.).
Note: If the Application Server is configured to relay for the Allégro stream
(see "Configuring Allégro Streaming Relays", on page 73), you must put the
Application Server’s ID in the APP SERVER ID column, beside the Allégro’s IP address.
Note: Currently, the APC7900 PDU is the only network-reachable PDU supported in
iControl Edge.
