To define the devices at this location
1. Click the Devices tab.
2. In the APPLICATION SERVER area, perform the following sub-steps for each Application
Server in your iControl Edge setup:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify an ID string for the Application Server.
b) In the IP column, in the same row, specify the Application Server’s IP address
(see "Configuring the Ethernet Interface", on page 37).
c) In the HOSTNAME column, in the same row, specify the Application Server’s host name
and host name (see "Specifying DNS Client Settings", on page 33).
3. In the DENSITE area, perform the following sub-steps for each Densité frame:
a) In the ID column of the first blank row, specify the ID string for the Densité frame.

GC100 IR PORT REMOTE
CONTROL PAGE
Path to an iC Web page (MPF file) that represents the remote control used
with a specific set-top box (or DVR) model, relative to EDGE/Web_pages. A
set of default MPF files is provided matching the remotes commonly used
with the set-top models for which a predefined configuration file (for the
GC-100) exists. If left blank, a generic remote control image will be used.
STB Specific remote control model associated with a specific device.
GC100 ID ID of the GC-100 network adapter associated with a specific set-top box.
PORT IR output port number (1-6) on the GC-100 from which commands are sent
to a specific set-top box.
CARD (PHYSICAL PROBE) SLOT Slot number (1-20) where the card is located inside the associated Densité
frame.
EDGEVISION UNIT NAME A user-defined name of an EdgeVision device.
1. Rows you wish to leave empty must include the two asterisks in this column.
2. Specify the same cycler ID for each pair of audio and video probes: a pair of probes that are meant to
process video and audio signals from the same channel must be associated with the same cycler ID.
3. This value should be less than the length of the polling period minus the settling time.
IMPORTANT: Do not deviate from the default values for TYPE (AS), or ENABLE (YES).

Note: The ID for each Densité frame across the entire iControl Edge configuration
