8. Click Save when done.
9. If you are ready to activate these changes on the device, click Apply settings.
The device reboots itself and uses the settings you have just saved.
Adding EdgeVision Devices to the iControl Lookup Locations Lists
If you intend to use EdgeVision devices in your iControl Edge setup, you must first submit the
IP addresses of all your EdgeVision devices to both the iControl Application Server Lookup
Location list and GSM Lookup Location list, even if the EdgeVision device is on the same subnet
as the Application Server.
To add EdgeVision devices to the iControl Lookup Locations lists
1. On iControl’s Startup page, click System Tools.
The System tools page appears.
2. Click Edit service locations.
New date Enter the current date for the device.
This field only appears if you disable the NTP synchronization feature.
New time Enter the current time for the device.
This field only appears if you disable the NTP synchronization feature.
Note: If you apply the changes and reboot the device, you may need to change the
URL for the EdgeVision Admin site to the new frame IP address. You should also
relaunch the EdgeVision Configurator and EdgeVision Player applications.
