Database
A database is what is exchanged between the XEdit application and the Kaleido-X frame during an export
or an import. For changes made in XEdit to take effect on the Monitor Wall, the database must be exported
to the Kaleido-X.
Database Preference Window
A database preference window is where the user can select the location of the local database on the PC
running XEdit. Changes made using XEdit are normally done on that local database.

Starting the XEdit Software
To start the XEdit software:
1. Double-click on the XEdit desktop icon .
Initially, the XEdit Start-Up window appears and then the Database Preference window appears.
