To power up the Kaleido-X, do the following:
1. Plug both power cords from the Kaleido-X into a grounded power outlet. The Kaleido-X does not have
a power switch, and will start up as soon as it is plugged in. The startup sequence takes approximately
4 minutes, during which some video may appear on the display(s). The startup is completed when the
CPU LEDs of the output cards (second from the top) are solid green.
To verify that the modules (cards) are ready:
1. Check the status LEDs on each module (card) installed in the Kaleido-X frame. Make sure that none are
indicating an error condition (see table below).

Red Fault Verify that the card is securely seated in the proper slot in the frame. If status
remains unchanged, remove the card, reseat it and then reboot.
Flashing green The card is rebooting Wait for card to reboot before starting operations
