Slot 1-6
Displays what type of PCB in installed in the system. If no PCB is fitted the
slot number will display ‘Empty’. If a PCB is fitted its type, HD Input, HD
Output or HD Store including the revision number will be shown.
RS232 Counters
This menu displays RS232 port errors:
Rx Received data
Tx Transmitted data
BI Breaks
OE Overrun errors
FE Framing errors
PE Parity errors
RS422 A-B Counters
This menu displays RS422 errors for ports A - B:
Internal Temp
This reads the internal temperature of the unit adjacent to the LM80 device
on the video backplane.
Please note that the real internal air temperature is much lower than the
temperature reported by the front panel. This is mainly due to the probe’s
location next to a hot component.
The following table shows air temperature measurements taken against the
reported temperature from the front panel. The unit under test was a fully
populated 2006 build unit.
