Input to GPI
Where a GPI port is used as an input, the command macro is activated when
either, the connection is made (GPI X On) or switched off (GPI X Off)
relative to the GPI ground pin (pin 13) on the GPI 25way D type connector.
To start a macro associated with GPI 1 On, make connection between pins 25
(GPI0) and 13 (GPI GND)
To start a macro associated with GPI 1 Off, break connection between pins
25 (GPI0) and 13 (GPI GND)
For connector information refer to the diagram on page 65.
To assign GPIs you use the GPI Inputs Assign menu. Select one of the nine
GPI ports identified as GPI 1 to GPI 9 On or Off or one of the 9 audio GPI
ports identified as Audio GPI 1 to Audio GPI 9 On or Off.
All 9 GPI ports and all 9 audio GPI ports can be configured as input ports.
The menu then includes a sub list of GPI actions. Note that sub list entries are
enclosed in square brackets.
To display a sub list, press enter and then use the left and right arrow keys to
scroll through the list of entries. To select an entry, press enter. To go back to
the top-level list, press escape.
