The FIO-1901-RT-SRP single-slot rear panel, mounted in a Densité 2 or Densité 3 frame, incorporates these

connectors:

• One socket for inserting a fiber transmitter/receiver SFP module – see the list of supported modules below.

• One BNC connector for the 3G/HD/SD SDI input

• One BNC connector for the 3G/HD/SD SDI output

2.3 SFP Modules

The FIO-1901-RT supports the following SFP optical interface modules:

FIO-1901-RT Model # Description of associated SFP module

FIO-1901-RT-S13-LC Dual fiber Rx/Tx cartridge 1310 nm – LC/PC connectors

FIO-1901-RT-W13-LC Single fiber Rx/Tx cartridge with WDM (Tx=1310 nm; Rx=1550 nm) – LC/PC connectors

FIO-1901-RT-W15-LC Single fiber Rx/Tx cartridge with WDM (Tx=1550 nm; Rx=1310 nm) – LC/PC connectors

See ANNEX 2 – Installing the Optical Interface, beginning on page 22, for instructions on installing and removing SFP

modules.

Note that when the WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) module is installed, the optical input and output signals –

one at 1310 nm and the other at 1550 nm – are multiplexed onto a single optical fiber.
