4. FIRST-AID MEASURES
First Aid Measures
General Advice
Provide this SDS to medical personnel for treatment.
Eye Contact
Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, remove
contact lenses. Get medical attention.
Skin Contact
Wash off with soap and water. If irritation persists, call physician.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. Artificial respiration and/or oxygen may be necessary. Immediate
medical attention is required.
Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs naturally, have victim lean forward to reduce risk
of aspiration. Immediate medical attention is required.
Most important symptoms and effects
Symptoms
Skin: May cause skin irritation on prolonged or repeated contact.
Eyes: Mild Irritation.
Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed.
Inhalation: Avoid inhalation, if affected, remove individual to fresh air
Chronic effects of over exposure: Prolonged exposure to high concentrations may cause
symptoms of central nervous system: depression such as headache, dizziness, loss of
coordination. Affected persons normally experience complete recovery when removed from
exposure area.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Notes to Physician
Aspiration into the lungs may occur during ingestion or vomiting, causing lung damage or
even death due to chemical pneumonia.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable Extinguishing Media
Foam, Carbon dioxide, Dry chemical.
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media
Do not use direct stream of water, material may float and reignite.
Specific Hazards Arising from the Chemical
Product is flammable. Vapor fumes can catch fire and ignite.
Hazardous Combustion Products Carbon oxides.
Sensitivity to Static Discharge
Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters
As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full
protective gear.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal Precautions
Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet. ELIMINATE all
ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks or flames in immediate area).
