PRODUCT DE SCRIPTION
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. This product is formulated for
sealing surfaces prior to grouting the surface. Grout Release
provides resistance against cement, epoxy, urethane and new age
grouts from “sticking” to the surface and potentially staining the
surface. Grout Release is a unique polymerized silicone formulation
designed to repel all types of grout and mortar residue. Grout
Release penetrates into the surface and forms an invisible barrier
that is resistant to grout and mortar sticking to the surface and
potentially staining the surface, while allowing vapor to escape.
Grout Release is not a surface coating and will not alter the natural
look. Grout Release can be used on interior and exterior
applications. Grout Release is U.V. transparent and will not yellow
under any circumstances.
Sample Testing
NEW INSTALLATIONS - APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Read entire label and SDS before using. Grout Release should not
be diluted or thinned in any way. Grout Release should be used as is
direct from approved container.
Before Grouting: Apply Grout Release to the surface prior to
grouting. This step will allow quick and easy cleanup after grouting.
Grout can stain many surfaces if this procedure is not used prior to
the grouting process. Apply Grout Release using a Mira Brush, Micro
Fiber or a clean towel. Apply enough to wet the surface. (See
coverage charts) Be careful not to saturate the open grout joints.
Allow Grout Release to stand for approximately 3 - 5 minutes for
maximum penetration. All excess must be removed at this time by
buffing surface with a clean dry towel or Micro-Fiber cloth. This is
very important on polished, glazed and porcelain surfaces. Allow
Grout Release to cure for 6 - 12 hours before continuing with the
grouting procedure.
Residue Remover
To remove accumulated
Grout Release residue, use Miracle
Residue Remover as directed.
Cure Time
Grout Release will be dry to the touch in 1 - 3 hours and may be used
for normal foot traffic. Grout Release must sit for 6-12 hours before
grouting.
For optimum results the area should be kept dry and free from
staining materials for 72 hours.
