5. If you need to adjust the image quality, select (menu icon) to switch
to the Quick Menu and make your adjustments (as described later). After
the adjustment, select
(
recorder icon) to close the Quick Menu.
6. If you don’t want to record the voice, select
 
System

Mute
and select
On
. The mute icon will appear in the status bar.
7. Frame your target in the viewing windows. You can rotate the Pocket PC if
needed.
8. To start recording, select (start icon). The word “REC” in red will
appear at the upper left corner to indicate that recording is in progress. The
time used up and the available recording time (hour:minute:second) appears
at the lower left corner of the screen.
NOTE:

The available recording time is an estimated value before the recording begins. The
value will not be refreshed during the recording.

The available time will not appear if the storage device is Pocket PC, not a SD/MMC
card.
9. To stop recording, tap the screen or press the navigation button. The video
(mpg format) will be saved to the appropriate storage device. (See section
6.4 for more information.)
10. To view what you have recorded, select
(player icon). (See the
instructions later on for more information.)
11. To exit the MioCam program, return to the main screen and select
(exit
icon).
