11. After the installation of all the Battery Packs is complete, verify that all the

connections are secure and that the polarity is correct. Verify that all

covers, access panels, retaining brackets and their screws are installed.

12. The UPS system is now ready for the normal start-up procedure (see the

UPS User's Manual). On all the units that were installed, check that all the

switches and all the circuit breakers are in the ON position and that all the

power cords (on the UPS and all the Battery Packs) are plugged into the

AC outlet.

CAUTION: Be careful not to let the open end of the battery cable or wires

short to any exposed metal; the Battery Voltage is at the connector's

contacts or wire's terminals.
