3.3.12. Checking the Joints of the Air Cleaner and Intake Pipelines for Air Tigness
. Check the joints of the air cleaner and intake pipelines for air-tightness every 500 ser-
vice hours.
To check the air-tightness, use the KI-4870 device approved by the State Scientific-
Research Institute of Tractors.
If such device is not available, check the joints for air-tightness visually.
