I‘ve filmed and photographed wildlife in most of Africa‘s big game areas from the Masai
Mara, Serengeti and Selous to the Okavango, Etosha, Kruger and all points between,
meaning that my equipment has to be both good and reliable.
Filming and photographing wild animals is one thing, finding them another, as sadly
Africa does not always give us bright sunny days to work in and therefore good binocu-
lars are an essential tool. My 10x42 Minox aspherics have proven invaluable, the light
transmission is truly spectacular and the balance superb. Minox seem to have taken
binocular technology a step ahead.
ANTHONY LAU (Malaysia)
Natural scientist
I am a naturalist with special interest in animal behaviour, a hunter, a digiscoper and a
bird watcher. A pair of good reliable field glasses is an essential tool for me. I first laid
my eyes on an array of MINOX field glasses displayed at a bird watching event. I was
attracted by the sleek elegant styling and picked one up; a BD 10x42 BR and handled it. It
felt very comfortable in my hands. The balance was superb. I was immediately impressed
by the brightness and edge to edge clarity of the lens. The pin-sharp rendering of details
was amazing. This pair of MINOX binoculars has been my constant companion throughout
countless trips to forest, field and sea.
That all Minox Sports Optics are built for rugged usage and long dependability is beyond
question. The best feature is that you get everything you expect from top-end optics for
affordable moderate price.

We both have MINOX 10 x 42’s attached to us every hour of our exploring and birdwatching
done in most of the third world countries. Imagine our dismay as a pair dropped into
a hot muddy spring in Venezuela. Retreived five hours later and washed in an icy creek
the binoculars were as good as new and still are five years later even though they have
been dunked and dropped many times more. Ruggedness in a binocular is essential for
two geriatrics as they clamber on a new adventure. Combine this with amazing light
transmission essential in dim jungle light and there is no more we could wish for in a
binocular. Congratulations Minox.
