RETICLE ADJUSTMENT
Note: If the riflescope has been properly mounted, only
minimal adjustments should be required while zeroing
your rifle. Huge discrepancies are an indication of improper
mounting.
To zero your rifle, first remove the caps on the windage and
elevation towers. You will see turnable knobs with a scale and
markings for the zero position. Each click and position on the
scale changes the point of impact by 1 cm at 100 meters. Turn-
ing the knobs clockwise will change the point of impact down
or to the left. Turning the knobs counterclockwise will change
the point of impact up or to the right.
When you have reached the desired settings, loosen the screws
on the side of the adjustment knobs with the Allen key provid-
ed, lift and turn the knobs to the zero position and tighten the
screws again.
ILLUMINATED RETICLE
Inserting the batteries.
Your MINOX riflescope is equipped with an illuminated reticle
and is powered by a CR 2032 battery, two of which are includ-
ed in the scope of delivery. Looking towards the front of the
riflescope, the illumination unit can be found on the left of the
main tube.
1. Turn the battery cover counter-clockwise until opened. Here you
will find the battery holder for both the active and spare
batteries.
2. Insert both batteries into the holder with the “+” poles fac-
ing each other and then insert the holder into the battery
compartment.
3. Close the compartment by turning the battery cover clockwise
until snug.
Note: Your MINOX riflescope oers the exceptional
advantage of having a spare battery with you at all times.
The practical battery holder not only holds the active bat-
tery in place, but accommodates a spare battery for quick
replacement if the need should arise.
Turning the reticle illumination on and o can be accomplished
using the illumination adjustment ring. The illumination is de-
activated if the 0 is aligned with the white dot on the tube. Turn
the ring to level 1 to activate the illumination in the reticle at
the lowest intensity.
The illumination brightness can be varied by turning the
adjustment ring – the numbers 1 to 8 indicate the levels of
brightness.
To increase battery life, the electronics in the MINOX riflescopes
oer the following automatic shutdown functions:
Laying the weapon on its side (at an angle of 45° or more) or
setting the weapon on its end (at an angle of 75° or more)
will automatically deactivate the reticle illumination. Taking
the weapon up again within 2 hours of turning the illumina-
tion on, will automatically reactivate the reticle illumination.
If the weapon remains on its side or in a vertical position for
more than two hours, the reticle illumination will have to be
manually turned o and on again.
If the reticle illumination is manually changed after two
hours of remaining idle, the automatic functions of the
reticle illumination will be reactivated.
Turn the battery holder around so that the fresh battery is
towards the main tube, and reinsert it. Place the cap on the
battery compartment and turn it counterclockwise until snug.
Note:
Please use only CR 2032, 3 V Lithium batteries.
To avoid battery leakage, please remove the batteries if
the scope will not be used over a longer period of time.
Note: A second battery must be in the battery holder at all
times to ensure proper contact with the metal contacts.
