How to Check Color MFP Firmware
C452 Series (Workgroup/ Office MFPSs)
Firmware Level for a Workgroup MFP is located in Service Mode> Firmware
Look for MFP Controller (3rd Line down)
In the below sample the firmware level is: GCW-B8 (Special Driver of version B8)
If the below sample displayed G00-B8 (This would've been a Base Firmware version B8)
Service Mode: Utility/Counter →MeterCount→CheckDetails→Stop001Stop01→FirmwareVersion
C7000 Series (Production PRO/ PRESS)
Firmware Level for a Production PRO or PRESS is located in Service Mode> Firmware
Look for Image Control I1
In the below sample the firmware level is: GU5-30 (Special Driver of version 30)
If the below sample displayed G00-30 (This would've been a Base Firmware version 30)
Service Mode: Utility/Counter →Stop001Stop01→FirmwareVersion→FirmwareVersion
