3.4 LPR Printing
This section explains how to use the Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP standard
LPR printing function.
Requirements
G Computer must have TCP/IP installed and enabled.
G Network Card must have valid IP parameters assigned.
Configuration Procedure (Windows NT 4.0)
1 Install TCP/IP and Microsoft TCP/IP Printing service under Windows
NT.
❍ Click the Start button, point to Control Panel, and then click
Network. Click the Services tab, click the Add button, and install
the Microsoft TCP/IP print service.
2 Assign the IP parameters.

page 3-2 for more information.
3 Use the procedure below to install the printer.
