5. Finally, insert the drum unit
as far as it will go into the
printer by applying pressure at
its top where the “Press”
label is affixed. The drum
unit will lock into place when
it has been correctly inserted
into the printer.
Note
• When the drum cartridge is
correctly installed into the
printer, the drum protective
shutter will automatically
open. Be careful not to disturb
or apply pressure to the
shutter.
• DO NOT PRESS on the
drum protective shutter
during installation.
This may damage the drum
cartridge.
