MONITORING READOUTS
OF
MEASUREMENTS
Memorized values
are stored
in the
meter's
mem-
ory even when
the
metering
method
or type
of
reading
is changed.
After taking
an
incident-light
measurement, it
is
possible
to simulate
how highlight
or shadow areas
would be exposed by reflected light
rneasurements:
1.
Take
an
incident-light
measurement and
memo'
rized the reading by
pressing
the
memory button.
The measured value
is memorized and is
indicated
by the
pointer
in the center
of
the
contrast
scale.

2. Detach the spherical
diffuser
and
attach
the
reflected-light
attachment
(or
Viewfinder 5"
or
10"11).
Press the
t'A"
key.The incident-light
measurement is
now memorized and
is indicated
by
the
"0" position
on the contrast
scale. The
second
measurement
will indicated by
the
pointer
on
the analog
scale.

3. Measure
several areas
that
you
want
to
check. The
digital readout
for
the incident-light
measurement
will
be
held
on the
LCD
panel,
and
pointers
on the
analog
scale
will
indicate the
other
measurements.
