FUNCTION
When
the
normal/an alyze switch is
moved
to
"analyze"
position,
ambient
light
and
electronic
f
lash
can be displayed separately by
pointers
on the
analog
scale.
The
pointers
above
the
analog
scale will indi-
cate the
proportion
of light from each light source
according to the
aperture-shutter
combination in
use.

the
readout
shows that the
difference between
ambient
light and
flash
is
approxi-
mately
1 stop, that
is,
ambient
light is half
as
great
as
flash
(at
1/60
sec. and

Adjustrnent of settings with
analyze
function
The relative
contributions to exposure by
ambient
and
flash
light can be controlled by adjusting the
shutter speed,
aperture
and/or
flash
power.
Flash
contribution
can
also
be controlled
by changing the
flash-to-subject distance,
power
level,
or
aperture.
After measurement of
the above
scene,
the reading
was
as
follows.
The main
subject is
illuminated
by
both tungsten lamps
and
electronic
flash
lights.
