1. How to use rnemory

1.
Press
the
memory
button
after
taking
a
measure-
ment.
The display will
go
blank
for
a
moment
then
reappear when
the measurement
has
been memo-
rized. The
memory indicator
(black
dot) will
appear to confirm
that
the reading
is memorized.
A
pointer
will appear at the
"0"
position
on the
contrast
scale. lf the
f-number
scale
is displayed,
the
pointer
will
indicate the corresponding f-
number.

NOTE
When
the
measurement is
under or over the
meter's measuring range, it cannot be
entered
into
the
memory.
2.
A
second
measurement
can then be taken, and
a
new readout
will
appear
on the
display.
o
When the
f-number scale
is displayed, a
pointer
will
appear
to indicate
the
f irst
measurement, then
a
second
pointer
will appear
for second
measure-
ment.
o
When
the
contrast
scale
is
displayed, the
pointer
at
"0" position
will indicate
the
relative
difference
between the two
measurements.

In this case, the

stored

the

first

When

f-number
scale
is displayed, changing
the
f
ilm-speed or shutter-speed
setting
will
also
change
the
position
of the
pointer.

The
measurements
remain
memorized even
if
measuring-mode
selector
or single/multi-reading
switch
are
moved, or if the
light receptor is
changed.
Thus, measurements
of incident
and/or
reflected
light
for flash or
ambient
light can be
shown
by
the
pointers
on the analog
scale.
o
Even when
the display
goes
off, any
values
stored
in the
memory
are
retained as long as
battery
power
lasts.
