MEASUREMENT
MEMORY
FUNCTION
Up
to two
flash
andlor
ambient-light
measure'
ments can be stored
in the
meter's
memory. Measure-
ments can
be recalled to
the LCD
display
at a
touch
of
a
button.
Measurements are simultaneously
indi-
cated
by
pointers
on the
meter'
analog
scales.
This
makes
it easy to compare two
readings
when deter-
mining exposure
for
two
light
sources,
such as
when
mixing
fill-in flash
with
ambient
light.
Analog scale
When
the
f unction
selector
is
at
"TlME"
or
"GV",
either the
contrast scale
or
the
f-number
scale
can
be displayed
by
setting the
analog-scale
selector
to
the
appropriate
position.
F-number scale
The
pointer
above the
f-number
scale
indicates the
aperture
required
for
correct
exposure.

Contrast
scale
The contrast scale
has
a
range
from
-4
to
+4
stops.
The
"0" position
corresponds
to the
metered
value
shown
on the
digital
display.
Readings
are
simultaneously
indicated by
pointers
on
the
contrast
scale
for determining
contrast
or
for
comparing
two
measurements.
For
example,
when mixing
light
from
electronic
flash
with
ambient
light, the
proportion
of
light
from
each
source
can be controlled.
Once the
mixed light
is
measured,
the
deviation
between
flash
and ambient
light
at a set
shutter speed
are
shown
by
pointers
on the contrast scale.
The
contribu-
tion
to
total exposure
made
by each
light
source
can
thus be determined
prior
to making the exposure.
