are
both
possible
with
the
Flash
Meter lV.
i.
Shutter-prtortty
measurement
When the
meter is
used
for
shutter-priority
meas-
urements
(at
TIME
setting),
the
meter determines
the
aperture
required
for
correct
exposure.

exposure
o
Measuring
f
lash
light
Setting
before
measurement:
Desired shutter
speed
is
set.
o
Measuring
ambient
light
Setting
before
measurement:
Desired shutter
speed
is set.
o
Measuring
multiple
exposures
Setting
before
measurement:
Desired
shutter
speed
is set.
NOTE
o
By sliding
decrease/increase
control, shutter
speed
or
film
speed
can
be changed
even
after
taking a
measurement. The
meter
automatically
displays
the
new exposure settings
when
the
user-set
values
are
changed.
o
After taking a
measurement,
the
guide
value
(GV)
can be changed
to select
an aperture
for correct
exposure
without changing
the
power
level.
2.
Aperture-priority
measurement
When
the
meter
is
used
for
aperture-priority
measurements
(at
FNo.
setting),
the
meter
determines
the
shutter
speed
(ambient-light
measurements)
or
guide
value
(flash
measurements)
for
correct
expo-
sure.

o
Measuring
multiple
expo$ures
Setting
before
measurement:

and
aperture
are
set.
Result after
measurement:
Required number
of
exposures
are
displayed.
NOTE
o
By sliding

control,
aperture
or
film
speed
can
be changed
even after taking
a

The
meter
automatically
displays
the
new
exposure
settings
when
the
user-set

are
changed.
o
When
ambient
light
is
too

combination
set,
the
meter
will
auto-
matically
change the
shutter
speed
to
obtain
the
correct
exposure
settings.
o
Aperture
and shutter
speed
can
be
set
in

Guide
value
is
displayed
in
