On the next screen, the dri-
ver on the CD-ROM should
be displayed; the browse
window can be used to find
the driver. When the driver
location is shown in the
window, click “OK.”

CONNECTING TO A COMPUTER
When the camera is plugged into
the computer, the operating sys-
tem will detect the new device and
the add-new-hardware-wizard win-
dow will open. Place the DiMAGE
E201 CD-ROM in the CD-ROM
drive. Click “Next.”
CONNECTING TO WINDOWS 2000 PROFESSIONAL
Choose the recommended
search for a suitable driver.
Click “Next.”
On the locate-driver-files screen,
choose to specify the location of
the driver. Click “Next.”
The add new hardware wizard
will confirm the location of the
driver. Click “Next” to install
the driver in the system.
The last window will confirm the
driver has been installed. Click
“Finish” to close the add new
hardware wizard.
When the my-computer window is opened, a
new removable-disk icon will be displayed.
Double click on the icon to access the cam-
era’s CompactFlash card, see page 84.
The driver needs only to be installed once. The computer will automatically recognize
the camera and display the removable-disk icon the next time they are connected.
