Open the terminal cover and
connect one side of the supplied
USB cable to the USB connector
of this camera.
• As the both sides of USB connector are
the same shape, you can connect either
side of the USB connector.
• Connect the USB connector securely.
Otherwise, the operation cannot be
performed correctly.
Connect the other side of the
supplied USB cable to the USB
port of the computer.
• Connect the USB connector securely.
Otherwise, the operation cannot be
performed correctly.
• If you connect the camera to the computer
via the USB hub, the operation may not be
performed correctly depending on the
condition of other USB equipment or the
USB hub. We recommend you to connect
to the USB port of the computer directly.

camera to the computer with the USB
cable, “Add New Hardware Wizard” dialog
box appears as shown in the figure. Install
the driver software by following the
indication of the dialog box (refer to the
procedure described on the following
pages).
